Successful Spring Workday Day

A Productive Saturday

Last Saturday was a hot day, but that didn’t stop our dedicated team from making great strides during our Spring Workday. We successfully reshingled the roof on both dormers, a significant step towards enhancing the structure’s integrity and aesthetics. A big thank you goes out to John and Josh for their hard work on this essential task!

Garden Overhaul

In addition to the roofing efforts, Cathy and her grandson (T681 Scout) tackled the garden, clearing one entire planting bed of weeds. Their diligence beautifies the garden and prepares it for the upcoming growth season. It’s wonderful to see community involvement in maintaining our shared spaces!

Next Steps

Although we made great progress, there are still a few tasks left to complete, which will need to wait for a cooler day, possibly a fall workday. We need to trim the shingles at the edges and address the window sills, ensuring everything is finished to perfection. Thank you once again to everyone who was involved for their hard work and dedication on such a hot day. Together, we’re making a real difference!
