Serving the youth of Northern Virginia since 1939

What We Do

Street View of the Scout House
Scout House 128 S Spring St, Falls Church, VA 22046

FCSBA is proud to host a broad range of groups, including:

  • Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Brownies
  • American Heritage Girls
  • International groups such as the Hungarian Scouts
  • Educational programs, community youth groups, and conservation-oriented organizations.

Our historic cabin has also welcomed diverse activities — from square dances and service projects to wartime efforts like serving as an air-raid shelter during WWII fcnp.com.

Our Community Commitment

Sustainable Stewardship
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on modest use fees, donations, and in-kind gifts to sustain operations. We welcome contributions to the Scout House endowment and encourage those interested to reach out via our Board for ways to help preserve this resource for future generations. Please contact the Board for information about tax-deductible donations, gifts-in-kind, corporate gifts, the Scout House endowment, and other ways to ensure that the Scout House remains viable for future generations.

Volunteer Workdays
We organize spring and fall workdays—named in honor of longtime board member Barry Buschow—which invite user groups and volunteers to help maintain and beautify the building and grounds.

Service Project Support
Scouts seeking Eagle, Gold, or similar service projects will find both inspiration and practical opportunities here. We’re happy to support or guide groups finding meaningful ways to give back to the Scout House or broader community.
